Changing oil in diff's
First open your fillerplug. Draining oil from your diff and then finding out you can't open it is very stressfull.
For every problem there's a sollution and that's why I rather use the word challenge in stead of problem.
DThe sollution to this challenge will be given at the end of this page.
de vulplug, mooi horloge trouwens ;)

 aftap plug

After opening the fillercap put something to catch the oil underneeth the drain plug and bleed your diff.

After a while the oilflow stops and your diff wil be (nearly) empty. Put back the drainplug and start filling through the filler hole. Gearboxfluid can be fairly expensive and the more you buy of it the less you pay per litre. I always buy a 1 litercan because of a retractable fillerhose which is integrated in the cap (ez filling) and a 5 litre can to have enough for an affordable price. If you have a special tool for filling or maybe even a pump, you don't need the 1litre flask at all................ vullen van dif

Keep on filling until it overflows. Just put the fillercap back in place. Another job done

The sollution to the above mentioned "challenge"

If you really can't take out the fillercap then you can take out a bolt that holds your diff in the axle on the other side. Choose one that is at about the same level as the fillercap and use the hole to fill the fluid through. The hole will be a lot smaller than the original filling hole and ik will take some extra time. But hey, at least you get the job done!!!
