Replacing brakepads in
your handbrake |

To change the pads you first
have to remove the rear driveshaft To your right you see the drum side. As any driveshaft it is secured with 4 nuts and bolts. |

In the midle of the drum you'll
see a large nut. It will be hard to turn. The reason why? It is locked! Just undo the dents in the nut with a pick or screwdriver, works like a charm. While you unbolt you might want to put the T-case in 4 low and ask someone to hold the brakes, if you can unbolt while the handbrake is on, it is not neccessary to replace the pads ;) |

This is what it looks like if you take off the drum. Just undo the springs and pins and the pads come off Before
you put in the new pads make sure you return the adjustible cup to the
minimum, otherwise you'll have a hard time putting the drum back on. Rebuild in reverse order
